Wet Felting California Style

Yesterday I took a wet felting class
at Random Arts in Saluda, NC.
Above is my piece before it was felted.

This is how it looked after felting.
The ball in the middle is a felted geode.
I will cut it open
after it has dried.
I'll show it to you in a day or two.
I need to begin embellishing my felted piece.

These are some of the class pieces.
I think they are really cool.

Me and Jane

I sketched this bean from our local Farmers' Market this morning -
my first opportunity to sketch solo,
and I loved it, once I got started!

This is the bean I was sketching.
There were so many colorful veggies in our basket.
It was a challenge to choose just one to sketch!
Everywhere I go, I'm finding objects begging to be sketched!

peace
