The ATC on the bottom right is MINE and it is in the January '09 Lake Murray Columbia magazine! I sent Sue Lenz my little ATC as part of her Cyber Fyber exhibit a little over a year ago. I was just playing around with some rusted fabrics and some old bits of lace that I had picked up at the thrift store. It was fun, but I really didn't think anything of it. I've viewed the wonderful exhibit online, and then today I received a copy of the magazine from Sue...and there was my ATC. I must say that I'm in great company: Virginia Spiegel, Karen Stiehl Osborn, Nellie Durand, and on and on! What a treat! Thanks go to Sue for spending the time and the $$ to send me the magazine!
I delivered a few of my new silk scarves to my friend John at Occasions by John & Troy this morning. So if you're in need of a silk accessory to top off your Spring wardrobe, go visit their lovely shop! This is MMMM: Turquoise:
I spent several delightful hours in the studio this afternoon: dyeing another scarf, a yard+ of some yummy silk charmeuse for a blouse, and also painting some cotton for other projects. Our weather is incredible, and absolutely perfect for my studio time!
Hope you've had a great day too!
