It's been a long time since we've had rain set
in like this. I kind of like it! Barker isn't very
happy about it, but C does seem to manage
to get him out for frequent walks between
the rain drops.
I'm including pics of a few pieces I've been spending my time on.
Last night we finished watching Australia. I wish we'd
seen it on the big screen. The photography was incredible.

Very pretty stuff. I am way over rain. I am pretty much water logged and want days and days of sun - HA!!
That's what we have had most of the time during the last months: Rain. I say to myself: A billion people would be grateful for this.
The herringbone quilting is beautiful! And I'd like to see the whole piece on the first picture.
I also have the DVD Australia, but haven’t seen it yet (so I have something to look forward to I hope).
My mother, on the other hand has seen it, and she just loved it too. She has been at almost all the places in the movie several of times, so it was kind of a nostalgia trip for her =)

Just checking in. Glad you are enjoying the rain. We've had a miserable, wet winter so we are ready for some sun up north.
Wasn't the rain great! I bet this coming week we will be able to hear things growing. Did you see quilting arts Sat ? printing with fruits and veggies. I will send you the show number if you missed it.

I'm so pleased you (and Eva's mother) enjoyed Australia. I have to admit I haven't seen it yet and probably will have to buy the DVD. From the bits I've seen the scenery is fantastic and it's all set in a part of Australia I haven't yet visited. We are having some short but heavy bursts of rain but it seems to evaporate instantly on these still very warm days. OOXX
