The Party's Over......

.....but it was great fun while it lasted!
I snapped this picture earlier in the evening,
because I just love my hydrangeas -
and they looked pretty darned good with my monoprinted table runner!

The Stilton and Walnut crackers were a huge success,
by the way,
so you need to go to this site,
print out the recipe,
make the crackers,
and then just devour them!
It's that easy!!!

The panna cotta was another huge success.
Sadly, I cannot give you a direct link,
as I combined a ton of recipes for this.
That said, I would google 'buttermilk panna cotta'
and find a recipe that suits your needs.
It was melt-in-your-mouth dreamily good!

And of course, the Shrimp & Grits were AWESOME!!!
It just goes to show you:
Yankees can learn to love grits,
AND
Yankees can prepare AWESOME grits!
This is my favorite recipe for Shrimp & Grits.
That said, I do not eat meat,
so I have substituted olive oil for the bacon -
and it works beautifully!
Nobody Knows!!!

peace

Your nest of hydrangeas look beautiful on the monoprint runner. I am glad I ate dinner before I read this post. I think you have solved the menu problem for the 4th! Of course, I would be happy with the Stilton crackers and a bottle of wine.

Grits, polenta - love anything like that! We make shrimp and grits quite often after our sojourn in the south.

Beautiful hydrangeas. Still don't quite understand grits.
