As you saw on yesterday's post,
I left class with a pile of unfinished blocks.
I was having fun,
and I was getting to spend time
with my friend Rayna -
and that was all that mattered to me.
I had no intention of joining blocks
into units,
but as a bit of time passed this morning,
I felt the urge to actually
complete this exercise.
I decided this would be a cityscape.
Rayna showed me a photo of a lovely one
that one of her students in California
had completed.
I began to assemble quirky skyscraperss,
and once the design board was available,
I slapped my designs up there,
and after just a little bit of tweaking,
you can see what evolved.
I'm really pleased with it!
Now I must find a background.
I think I know where I'm going with it,
and will show you once I get the fabric dyed.
This was a great class.
My classmates were fantastic,
the facility was perfect,
and Rayna is, of course,
a very fine teacher.
She helps everyone get started,
offers help when asked,
encourages camaraderie amongst her students,
and lets you bloom at your own pace.
Thanks Rayna!
thanks for stopping by my lovely readers!
peace to you!

I love your skyscrapers! They are so much fun and "perky". Rayna looks so beautiful. Glad you had a fun weekend. xo
Oh, Wonderful! This is going to be great. Is it still for Maggie?
