Paper or Fabric?

I am playing around with some
paper fabric
while I try to decide how to finish
my latest large piece.
Above you can see a shot of a piece
that will turn into a little
surprise for our grandson Charlie.
He and I love to collect acorns,
and so I've stamped this paper fabric
(rice paper coated with layers of acrylic paint)
with an acorn stamp that I carved.
He is also learning his letters,
so I thought a capital A was a good way to help him along.
I hope to complete this little piece
in a day or two.

While I'm at it,
I'm working on another piece for my
December 12th show.
Here is the fabric paper that I am preparing:

actually, the paper is quite pink,
but my iPhone prefers it to be salmon!

I'll show you more soon...
and maybe even my large piece -
when I figure out how I want to finish it!

thanks for stopping by!

peace to you and yours!

Oh Charlie is going to love the acorn paper and I love the pink that you are working on. I really want to rush over and see it. :)
