I'm back to a bit of ice dyeing of my silk Furoshikis.
This one really pleases me!
I think I will offer this as a giveaway....
What do you think?
It measures 30 x 30" and it is silk habotai.
If you are interested, and I hope you are,
please leave a comment by
midnight Eastern on
Sunday August 30th.
The lucky winner will be chosen by random generator on Monday morning,
and I will post the name that day.
**************************
I have begun sewing the sashing between my blocks for two three reasons:
1. the number is growing rapidly and they take up less space on my design wall
when joined together
2. I'm running out of pins to attach them to the design wall
3. I love the sashing fabric!
there are actually six of these blocks sewn together, but all you get to see is 3-1/2!
thanks for stopping by
peace to you and yours
don't forget to leave a comment if you want to be in the running
to win that gorgeous silk Furoshiki!

I got an error message on my first attempt so will try again - my apologies if you get this twice!
I love all of your furoshikis, but I agree, this one is special. Some lucky person (maybe me!) will enjoy it.

Gorgeous! I have received so many beautiful things from you that it seems greedy to hope that you draw my name. Just call me Greedy Gert. ;)
What a magnificent piece this furoshiki is---the dyeing is tremendous and the colors are so beautiful together. It is splendid! Please enter me into the drawing, MB!
Magnificent colours in this piece, Judy, though I don't think I've seen one yet that hasn't been beautiful. It will be a treasure to the lucky winner. I do like the dotty fabric you are using to join the butterflies, too. What a talented artist you are, Judy. xxx
