At Long Last!

It's labeled and bound, the sleeve has been attached, and it is now hanging on the stacked stone hearth in our living room! WooHoo!! "Barn Dance for Francine" my class piece from the Shibori class I took with Jan Myers Newbury, is now complete!

And it looks as if Spring is springing in these parts as well! It has also been a long time coming. We had temps in the mid 60s today, and they were most welcome. Jeannie tells me that they are supposed to have snow in eastern Washington state this week....and I am truly sorry! I hope that that stuff is behind us, even though Barker adores romping in it!

PEACE

We are due for snow, too. It got cold again today. The snowplows are in the ready.

Love the shibori piece - really like the wonky edges.

Barn dance is gorgeous. I love the curvy edges. Way to go, Judy! No snow yet and I am hoping the weatherboys are wrong. ;-) Enjoy the sunshine.

The wavy edges really compliment the wavy lines of the shibori! I dig it!

And YES! come on Spring!

What a bright and beautiful astatement piece!!!! I am sure
that it is the focal point of the room!! The uneven wave on the edges is a great finish!!!
Bravo!!!

The shibori looks so good in contrast to the stone. Nice to see flowers. We still have several feet of snow but it is melting so there is hope for spring eventually.

Love the shibori piece Judy. Colours are great and it sits well on the stone wall. Well done!
