A Gift

I recently became the proud owner of
Etude 7: Rhapsody,

The beautiful piece arrived on my doorstep on December 23rd,
and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful gift.
It now graces our foyer,
and I have the opportunity to get up close,
admiring Dunnewold's exquisite work,
anytime I so desire!

To say that Jane Dunnewold has been an inspiration to me,
is an understatement.
As you may know, I have been a student in her
Mastery Program for two years now,
and I can think of no better way to celebrate our relationship
than to have a piece of work from her hands in my home.

Not only is Jane an incredible artist, but she is a fine person.
Being in her presence brings out the best in any and all of us,
and challenges those of us around her to be better people as well.

Because Etude 7 is so large,
I am including a few detail shots, so that you can get a better idea
of why I'm so wild about this piece.

peace

Oh Judy, Etude 7 is gorgeous! Each of the close ups you shared would be a work of art all by itself. Beautiful. I don't know Jane except through her books and dvds, but her generous spirit and encouragement of others comes through in the media, as well. Enjoy!

What a beautiful piece and what a lovely gift, Judy! Jane Dunnewold will be coming to Seattle to speak at our state SDA symposium March 3/4. I am looking forward to hearing/seeing her in person! Maybe you can come, too! Happy new year!
