When I received Linda's email, telling me I'd won,
I couldn't believe it!!
I never win anything -
but perhaps in 2012 this will be something new for me!
In any case, I left a comment on Linda's wonderful blog
and in turn won this beautiful book.
It is all in Italian, but I think I get the basic gist of it:
patterns for some amazing tree quilts,
as pictured on the cover.
Proceeds from the sale of this book
go to help ailing children -
a cause near and dear to all of us.
I love the feel of this book.
I love its vibrant colors and
I love that it has space in which to write.
I will use it as a journal.

I just was sitting here and thought about how nice it is that we have the Internet. We are able to "talk" to each other and get to know (nearly instantly) what our friends are doing in an other part of the word.
Isn't that just wonderful?
