Tests & Designs

The bulk of today was spent overdyeing my silk samples in the studio.
Once I developed a system, the process moved along rapidly.

Above you can see all of the small snippets batching.
Clearly it was time to clean out my studio cupboards,
so taking out all of the old containers and inventorying them
as they are used, is a very good thing.
I've rinsed out about half of the little pieces of silk now,
and will show results in the next day or two.
I'm really thrilled with how they look.
It will be fun to compile them all in my dye notebook,
and then use them!

The picture at the top is another NoTan design
that I cut and pasted this afternoon,
while waiting for the silks to batch.
It reminds me of a mask.
What do you see?

Judy, I love your circular design! Can't wait to see what you'll do with all of your designs.

Peace!

As soon as you said "mask" that was all I could see. I think a monkey, perhaps...
