Carving out a Name for Myself

I had a tiny bit of free time one evening last week,
so I started doodling with my 'name'.
Next thing I knew, I was carving a stamp....
but I forgot the 'in' word!
Duhhhhh!
Well, it has taken me a while to get back to this little project,
but I finally got my 'in' carved this afternoon -
on a little eraser.
I think this was one of those happy accidents,
as I really like being able to change the 'in' color!

Charlie will be 2 in a little over a week,
and we are making huge plans for his birthday celebration.
I just hope his Mom and sibling have some sort of labor agreement worked out:
'no delivery until after the party' PLEASE!!
So, I carved a stamp for Charlie's train-themed party:

and I've had a ball stamping all over his gift wrap,
which is just plain white craft paper.

This afternoon I rediscovered my
Charlie and Addy initial stamps in my stamp draw.
(they share the same initials -
how clever of his parents!)
I picked these up last summer at Random Arts -
aren't they great?

We saw an incredible movie the other night:
starring Helen Hunt.
If it appears on the screen in a theater near you,
you must see it!!
Tonight we are doing dinner and a movie with our good friends.
We're seeing Skyfall -
I've never been a huge James Bond fan,
but when I learned that Javier Bardem has a role in this one,
there was no question as to whether or not I would see it!

peace

I was just wondering when Baby 2 was due - so soon!! Love the stamp. Did you see my new profile photo with my new glasses and the scarf you made me? Several folks mentioned how pretty the scarf is. I agree. Hippo birdy two ewes, Charlie. Miles' birthday is Tuesday.

I can't believe that Charlie is going to be two. Your stamps are wonderful. I especially like the train! I want to see the Helen Hunt movie. It will be on dvd before it arrives in the theater. LOL!
