I made many, many Valentines
this month.
Most of them were sent to members of our church
who have become shut-ins over the past few years.
These are dear old friends
whom we have known since joining our church
thirty some-odd years ago.
I miss seeing these folks,
and wanted to brighten their day.
So I painted, dyed, stitched, beaded,
stamped and quilted these babies.
I also have three dear friends
who celebrate birthdays on Valentine's Day,
and one whose birthday falls on the 13th.
I made cards for them as well.
And then of course there are my two
Grand Cherubs.
I wanted to make Valentines for them -
something special and different.
I hope you had a wonderful day,
and found something sweet
to savor.
peace
