Datura

I've named this little sketch study
'Datura',
as it reminded both me and Jeannie of the lovely
Moonflower.
I couldn't stop doodling on it,
and now I've decided to bind it and prepare it
for hanging.
Here's a detail shot of the center:

and another:

We've had LOTS of rain here this past week,
so it's been really nice to have
some indoor work to keep me busy.

As always, thanks for dropping by.

Peace!

Judy, Datura looks beautiful! I love the bit of red. You can send the rain west when you get tired of it. :)

Love this, Judy. Datura grows here and there and everywhere in my gardens. I'm waiting for it to bloom but until then........ xx

Very delicate, like the Datura, and really beautiful! I'm so impressed with your stitching. Amazing!

Not surprised you wanted to complete this, it is lovely. The addition of the red makes it so dramatic.
