'And So the Journey Begins'

I began quilting this piece
late last week.
It keeps me company,
I can work on it and semi-meditate,
or listen to soothing music.
I'm using threads that I already have in my stash,
enjoying how they interact with the
discharged and overdyed fabric,
as they meander across the surface.

I had a follow up visit with
my Oncologist yesterday afternoon.
All of my blood work looks great....
and I have another week and a half
"off"
until my next round of chemo!
WooHoo!!!!

thanks for dropping by!

have a great weekend

peace to you gentle reader!

Love the changes in colour and the way that the threads coordinate perfectly.

Great news about the blood work, make the most of your time off and build up your strength for the next round.

I thought of sunset, too. :) I love the undulation of the fabric in response to the thread. Gorgeous colors! xoxo

Judy, this is just so gorgeous I don't know what to say. I can imagine the pleasure of sinking and drawing needle & thread -- a sensory experience. Making cloth and thread become one. Love it, love to you.
