More Dye Jobs


I decided to play around with two of the 
silk scarves that I had previously dyed.
I made a new painted resist interfacing screen (above).
As you can see, I cut some slits
inside the painted ovals.

Here is scarf #1 prior to the new treatment:


and here it is after dyeing:


I think you will agree that it is 
so much nicer now!

silk charmeuse is bad about that,
even on overcast days, I'm afraid.

Those are beautiful! The addition of the silkscreening really enhanced them and made them more interesting. I'm going to have to give that interfacing screening a try. Thanks for the link to the tutuorial.
