After all of yesterday's excitement,
I was pretty worn out when we got home from the hospital,
so I did a bit of rolling and clamping,
threw this piece of silk under some ice,
and covered it with two different nine year old Dharma blended dye powders.
I was tired, it was getting late, and I just wanted to play.
I'm so amazed with the results!
This Furoshiki only batched for about 15 hours,
which is a short time compared to the 24 I've usually been giving my pieces.
So I'm learning a LOT!
and here is my butterfly block for today:
This one is literally hot off of the press!
Hope you're having a very pleasant weekend.
I know we are!
Henry and his family are thriving.
He should be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.
I got to hold him for a bit again today,
and it was like heaven.
We all think he chirps rather than cries....
I know that will change soon!
peace to you and yours
......and thanks for stopping by!

Your days are making me smile. So filled with joy and creativity. The silk piece looks like a Liberty Lawn - just exquisite. Okay, off to my happy place now that I've visited your's. xoxo
