Weaving....A New Addiction???

I took a fantastic weaving class over the weekend.
It was offered at the Fall Folk School at Camp Mikell,
which is the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta's church camp.
Ann Lynn Whiteside was our instructor,
and she was just marvelous:
patient, kind, encouraging, and thoroughly knowledgeable.

Here are my classmates, hard at work

This is Milly, she is 96 years young,
and this was her first weaving adventure,
as it was mine.

Penny, Ann Lynn's able assistant,
was there to help us all.

This is Milly with her weaving,
at this morning's Show & Tell

Below is Kathryn with her piece.
She was most prolific.

Here is my piece, at home on our sideboard

it needs some pressing,
but I couldn't wait to show you!

I'm afraid I may have a new addiction, er, hobby!!

thanks for stopping by

peace!!

You did an absolutely fantastic job on that! Most people weave for years before their work looks as professional as yours. Really. I'm not just saying that to make you feel good! xo
