Springtime in the City

I was kidnapped this afternoon! This big guy grabbed me up, threw a few of my belongings into an overnight bag, and packed me and my faithful hound into the car and off we went to the big city!! It never ceases to amaze me how our little condo seems to totally change my perspective on life and all that goes along with it! We live only 60 miles north of Atlanta, but the climate is totally different. The beautiful Carolina Jasmine are blooming here in the city:

and the tulips are popping:

Barker was having a fine time, out amongst his adoring public!

Look at the beautiful pansies....won't be long now before they get yanked up for the summer annuals.

a few more pansies:
Hope it's pretty where you are!

Very pretty, Judy. Only my landscape is white. Arrrgh.

ummm, guess it is all relative. We had over a foot of snow, so back to white, then mud season.
That's PA for ya!

It sure sounds like you two enjoy living in the city much more than living in the country! Though each has it's own benefits.

Judy, I'd love to jump a plane and spend some time playing with you there (my requirement: we would have to go to a baseball game. One more stadium off my life list). Since I hate heat and humidity, though, it would have to soon. And soon I'm off to Art Quilt Claremont!

Thanks for visiting Sacred Ordinary, Judy. Your romantic husband is one in a million. Beautiful photos. Here in So Cal by the beach, we have the marine layer--cold and damp. I'll take some time to visit your archives later today. I'm particularly interested in your backwards Bush countdown clock. I'll check this widget out since I'm counting down, too.

Atlanta looks a lot like Portland - I am sure the similarities end with the flowers that are blooming.

We are heading off to church to hear John Dominic Crossan in a forum on the marginalized in our society.

Have a nice rest of your city week-end.

Lovely flowers, especially the blue and yellow pansies. Looks just like the Swedish flags colors ;-)
