This n That Saturday

Barker continues to do well, although it is obvious that he is in some pain. When he tries to shake, as doggies are want to do, he stops abruptly. He still has a difficult time getting his head all the way down to the floor to eat, and really prefers to eat out of my hand! We could be getting into some mighty bad habits here!!! Thanks again for your concern and well wishes! They are most appreciated.

Last night, C and I finished watching "Little Children", starring Kate Winslet, Patrick Wilson, and Jeffifer Connely. Have you seen it yet? It really makes you think and keeps you interested the whole way through. I was never even tempted to pick up my knitting!

Thankfully, they were not destroyed in our Easter freeze! We have lost all of our Hydrangeas for this season. New growth is coming up from the roots, but most were already leafed out and budded, so all of that is gone. Ah well, that gives us more to look forward to and savor next year!
