Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........................

We drove into Boston on Friday morning and met K & D at baggage claim at Logan Airport. Lunch was at our old favorite NoName Seafood restaurant down on the fishing piers.

The above is a view from our little cottage on Squam Lake, New Hampshire.

We did spend Friday evening in Nashua, New Hampshire and then climbed Mt. Monadnock, about an hour west, on Saturday morning. We all thought we were in great shape, but found the hike to be quite strenuous. Carrying plenty of water along helped, but we left our lovely lunches in the car in the parking lot, thinking that the approximate 3 mile hike would be just a little walk in the woods. Believe me, it is tough!

So, we are now on Squam for the week. Our internet connection is off and on, and slow when on, so I probably won't be blogging much or reading too many emails. So, in essence, this is indeed a vacation from so much of my normal life. Hope all is well with you all!
