Spring Beauties & Collage Mania

the dreaded underline has returned once again......I cannot get rid of it, no matter what I do, but don't give up: it suddenly disappears midway through this post!

C and I have been home from our short but very sweet birding trip to North Carolina for two days now and apparently that is just enough time for reality and the sinus headache to set in!

I'm missing those carefree days, being with my friends, and all the fun we had! So I thought I'd share a few more pics.

Here's one of the two bottle trees outside of Crim's wonderful studio store at Bee Global:

I think this is called a Pipe Vine Swallowtail:

Dandelions gone by, but still lovely:

Wild Phlox:

More Swallowtails:

The rushing stream at Joyce Kilmer:

Lovely Canada Violets:

Ahhhhhhh, Fiddleheads!

Maindenhair Fern and Solomon's Seal at Joyce Kilmer:

Which brings me to Collage Mania, the wonderful fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, sponsored by Virginia Spiegel. I really wanted to contribute this year, so I have donated this collage to the cause:

If you would like to bid on this or any other collage, please go here to do so. The auction will take place May 5th and 6th (Monday and Tuesday) and 100% of the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. There are some gorgeous pieces there, so please take a peek and bid, bid, bid!

I will be peddling my ComplexiTees at the Metropolis Market this weekend. Hope you will stop by and see me!

PEACE

More lovely photos which remind me that I promised you photos of the Rare Plant Fair I went to last weekend so will try to blog about that soon. Hope you have a successful peddle of the ComplexiTees this weekend and hope the sinus improves so you can enjoy yourself.
