WooHoo!

As seen in yesterday's Atlanta Journal and Constitution.
We've come a long way baby!

I have been redoing a few pieces that have bothered me over the past few months. Here is one:
a silk charmeuse scarf that I dyed, discharged and printed last Fall. I added another layer of dye yesterday:

I did some discharging this morning:

Here is the finished product:
I'm pleased with it now.

My buddy spent the morning in the studio with me:

PEACE

Hi Barker! Did you help with this scarf? It is really lovely - nice redo.

I thought the scarf was pretty nice when you started the re-do but you definitely improved it. your open door makes me think it's nice and warm there. We have now had rain, rain, rain and they are forecasting five more days of it. We need sunshine again.

Woo-hoo indeed. :)

I really like the green in the scarf. I really like the idea of a scarf, and wish I could pull them off, but they just don't work on me. Either my neck is too short or I have too much hair. I do suck it up in January, though. Because, really, who cares if it looks bad when it's freezing cold outside?

And that dog looks entirely too comfortable. I'm jealous.
