Frosty Morning

Tis a frosty morning here in GainesVegas! When Barker and I went out to walk the thermometer registered 31.5.........and that didn't include the wind chill. The gusts off of the lake onto the golf course were exhilarating, to say the least!

Back at home, this seemed the perfect picture to sum up the weather scene:

The last leaves of Fall:

Remember this?

I added some soy wax to it yesterday

and then overdyed it with khaki and truffle brown

Haven't decided where to go with it next.

PEACE

Brrrr! We are having a Portland heatwave - it has been in the 50s and 60s and sunny, but it is about to end.

I want to see some reddish orange - a complement to the turquoise. Not sure how you can do that. You will think of something yummy, I am sure.

Truffle brown - sounds good enough to eat. You'll figure out where to go next. I've been having to go back into my things 10 times over these days. Overdye, wax. discharge, screen...blah blah blah.

It will tell you.

I like how your fabric is looking.I agree with karoda and Rayna wait till the cloth speaks to you. Sometimes I put the cloth away for days.

Even here in Florida it's cold, I unearth my gloves!!!
