Easin' In and Out!

We're taking a few days off from our normal routines.  We had originally planned to fly out to SanFran, but since we'd be pass-riding and the flights were filling up, we decided to eliminate stress and just drive up to one of our old favorite haunts: the Blue Ridge Parkway; and then on to Asheville.  No heat on the parkway, and the wildflowers were gorgeous.  Yesterday morning we took a lovely hike on the Mt. Pisgah trail.

the Rhodies and Mt. Laurel formed a lovely tunnel along the trail
We spent the afternoon exploring the lovely downtown area of Asheville:

yarn shopping

C found this lovely table in a wood working shop!
It would go nicely in our livingroom, so we need      to go home and take some measurements!
then we stopped by Bouchon for the all you can eat mussels for dinner!  YUMMMMM!

nothin' like a little relaxing in a tub of bubbles after a tough day of shopping!

PEACE

Ah, that tub looks so relaxing! You were in one of my favorite parts of the world. My in laws lived in Brevard and I loved that area. Have a great week!
