I've been spending every available minute in the dye studio, playing with dye combinations, different resists, and various silks. Above is a layer of oatmeal resist upon the primary layer of potato dextrin. I'm always in awe of the fabulous designs that spontaneously appear. They are wonderful!
This is my favorite:
I see a dragonfly........do you?
and what do you see here?
I'm curious!

All I see is a piece of fabric that I want!!
I wish I could write like Cheech and Chong! Dang, Gerrie beat me to the plea for the fabric! LOL! I love the dragonfly in the upper one. I see a person running/skipping and a funny tree. Shades of the 60's going on here. LOL! What do you see?
Definitely a dragonfly in amber. Can I say I want it too? The other one is a bit more mysterious. I think a little of what Mole saw in the Wildwood when the whistling started. Tree silhouettes that just might reach out to grab you and strange curving roots to trip you up.
Just gorgeous and I can't wait to see how it ends up.
I hope you are up with your "Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame, you'll have to read it to Charlie one day. Very English.
I see the face of the wind blowing toward the left. He has a banana shaped nose.
I see blueberry jam and custard ;-)
Kram
