This is "Feathers" (original, huh?). I apologize for it being a bit catty-wompus, but I did the best I could considering where it is hanging. I'm really pleased with how it turned out: many, many layers of dye, potato dextrin resist, and both textile and acrylic paints on silk crepe de chine. I am donating this piece to our church's J2A Auction, the proceeds of which help fund the group's 'Pilgrimage'. Boy, how I wish I'd been involved in such a church youth group in my day!!
