Today was one of those days that if you were asked to put a price on it,
you couldn't afford it
no matter who you are!
Our Atlanta weather was tops, and I was blessed to spend an entire day with both our daughter and our grandson.
It's Thursday, and that is the day that the food trucks visit Midtown, where our condo is located. They arrive at two nearby locations at about 11:30 and stay until they are sold out. Charlie's napping schedule got us there at what I thought would be too late, but they were still going strong. We had already had a ginormous breakfast, so all that we really needed was a gelato from Honeysuckle...and boy howdy was it yummy!!
Tonight was 'Cocktails in the Garden" at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, so we strolled on up there and spent several carefree hours, roaming the meticulously tended beds, listening to great music and enjoying the cool evening breeze.
Life really doesn't get any better than this!

Oh, you are so right! What a wonderful day you had! Charlie's smile sums it up. I love his outfit and the photo with the pumpkins is wonderful. Hope tomorrow is equally as good.
The photo with the pumpkins would make a fantastic pictorial quilt, doncha think? I didn't get out until 1pm and was like whoa, where did this fantastic weather come from? Wishing you and Charlie a happy weekend!
