Stamping out 2011

Well, I couldn't help myself!
I ordered a second mystery foam set from
If you hurry, you can get in on their special!
You can purchase the entire 'kit' for just $12.95 - free shipping!
It includes the Memories Inkpad, the mystery foam, and a spritzer bottle.

I decided to make a stamp using some of my old buttons.
It was fun choosing what I thought would make an interesting stamp.
Here it is:

cool, huh?

the stamp on very damp cotton fabric

here are multiples on watercolor paper

I got to thinking, 'why couldn't you make an impression from jewelry?
So, I got out my favorite heart pin from my friend Molly.

I've used this pin as inspiration for many Valentines,
and thought it might be a great one for this year,
so I made the stamp with two entwined hearts:

Here's how it looks on watercolor paper:

So there you have it: my way of stamping out 2011!

This is my 1100th post.......can you believe it!!

peace

Oh, Oh, I have got to get my chores done so I can play!!!!! I love the hearts. The buttons are so much fun and you could really have fun embelishing them. Congratulations on 1100 posts - wow!!!! And I have read every single one. Hmmm, perhaps that is why my chore list is so long! lol! xo

Hey Judi, one idea I have tried with success -- buy the cheapo foam kneelers at the dollar store at end is season, it works almost as well as the memory foam and you can make BIG stamps
