Still in Focus Mode Cont.

I was very pleased with the results of my studio screen printing this afternoon.
The new Thermofax screen is perfect,
and I love the turquoise against the reds and oranges.

I have one or two more steps to take in order to complete this piece.
We are away for the weekend, so I have time to let this percolate
and digest.

I washed out the flour paste resist piece that I showed you yesterday.

I wanted the lines to be very subtle, and I got what I was hoping for!
YAYYYY!!!
Last winter, I spent weeks dyeing samples of color combinations.
I kept a notebook and very precise details
(normally not my strong point).
Little did I know how handy that work would be for me now.

Thanks for dropping by.......
and I hope you have a wonderfully restful weekend!

peace

Wow! The subtle lines on the lighter fabric is beautiful. It looks like frost. Of course, you know I love the turquoise/sunset piece. Now I hope you can focus on having a fun filled weekend!

Hi, Judy. Just dropped by from Linda Teodo's blog. Saw that you were taking Jane Dunnewold's class so wanted to see what you were doing. Very exciting stuff you've got going with lovely colors.
best from Tunisia,

Really nice results, Judy! Is this the beginning of a piece for the Mastery exhibit?
