Florida Photos

I am doing a commissioned piece
using a tropical flair,
so our trip to Florida came at the right time.
I decided to take a lot of inspirational pics with my Canon,
but also to use the Paper Camera app on my iPhone.
Above you can see some palm fronds
photographed with the Paper Camera app,
Andy Pop (as in Andy Warhol) was the setting I used.

I took a lot of pictures of Hoppy using Paper Camera:

not sure of the settings,
but as you will see,
it is very versatile.

So, there you have it: Hoppy via Paper Camera.
Paper Camera is also available for iPads.

We spent Friday visiting friends in the Bradenton area,
and enjoyed a great lunch in the little fishing village of Cortez.
Great food, great friends, wonderful time!
We were given a fabulous driving tour of Anna Maria Island,
where my paternal grandmother used to spend a portion of her winters
when I was a young girl.  I can see why she loved it there -
it is still beautiful, 50 years later.
Friday night we went to the Trop,
Tropicana Field,
to see the Rays/Braves game.
I'd have to say, I like the new Marlins stadium in Miami better....

but the game results were great:

Braves 5, Rays 3!

peace
