After finishing my 'chores' yesterday,
I had about two free hours
before we needed to leave for
dinner at the home of friends.
I hate being rushed,
but I also really wanted (and needed)
some more play time with my Gelli Print Plate.
I decided there wasn't time to concentrate on lesson 2,
and lesson 1 had been so much fun
that I wanted to explore more possibilities...
and just play!
So above and below are a few more images
from that playtime.
It was getting close to time to
close up shop,
and there was still a bit of paint on my
plate and brayer,
so I thought I'd play with a couple of
basic resists on paper scraps
and in my sketchbook.
I really like this one:
This one (below) is pretty cool too:
I used what I think is a potato masher.
It's done on watercolor paper.
The image is very subtle,
but I love it.
more potato masher in my sketchbook:
and lastly,
a few more potato masher images:
Happy Weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
peace to you

Yum! Have a relaxing weekend!
Love what you're doing, Judy. I've pulled out my Gelli plate for experimentation.
