What I Learned in Knitting

Dr. Sock returned from her knitting retreat in Wisconsin
and had oh so much to share.
She had handouts on short rows,
info on knitting facings for better zipper installations,
but what I enjoyed most was learning how to take
panorama photos with my iPhone!
I guess I never bothered with that lesson in
the iPhone handbook.

So this morning I took a few panorama shots
while the boys and I enjoyed our golf course jaunt.

Barker appears to be in most of the shots.
Although it was only about 72 degrees,
it was very humid,
and he hates walking in the humidity,
so he lags behind.
Bosco runs off ahead,
until something scares him -
and then he scampers back to his big brother
for protection!

I needed this walk.
We received word last night that my Swedish cousin
Bertil

had passed away yesterday
after a five year battle with a brain tumor.
Even though I know that he is finally at peace,
I grieve over his shortened life,
and the void that his wife Eva
and his daughters
Anna and Maria
 are experiencing today.
Peaceful morning walks help me
to process these things.
Rest in Peace, Dear Bertil!

This last shot is the view from our patio,
living room, dining room, and
my sewing room.

The lake didn't come out too well -
the sun had just begun to kiss it.

hope you enjoyed our morning walk

peace!

My sympathies over the loss of your cousin, Bertil. Sending thoughts of peace to his family and you.
I have never learned panorama photography, but that is one of the reasons I bought my camera. LOL! There is something so cool about seeing a long photo. xoxo

Oh Judy dear, and dear Eva, I'm so sorry to hear this sad news of Bertil's passing. I'm glad you were able to have that walk with your boys to have time to think of Eva and the girls and to remember Bertil. A sad time for your family.

I love your panorama shots, they're beautiful! Lots more please. I love taking panoramas but wonder if you used apps as I do or if you have learned something magical about your iPhone. Lots of hugs to you today. xxoooxx

Thank you all for your thoughtfulness!
Bertil had a very peaceful and pain free death and I feel relief and gratitude that he didn't had to suffer when he left this world.
KRAM (hug) to all

You have a lovely nature were you live. I hope I will be able to see it once again some time in life ;-)
