Day 53: Autumn Beauty

I'm once again smitten!
This is another lovely scarf: 34 x 34" silk crepe de chine.
The colors are a bit duller than some that I've recently dyed,
but I think that the dyes are a bit more subdued.
I used Dharma's Celery and Dark Cherry
or something like that.
It's a perfect scarf for Autumn.

I couldn't be happier with my results.

I also managed to find time to get another row of
Maggie's butterfly blocks pieced.

I'm taking a poll of which scarf should be offered
in the next giveaway,
so don't forget to vote.....here, on the blog.
I'll leave the voting open until Sunday midnight Eastern,
and everyone who votes has a chance to win.
Whichever scarf gets the most votes
is the winner AND goes to the winner.
The winners (scarf and commenter) will be announce
Monday.

thanks for stopping by

peace!

Enjoyed looking back through all your beautiful fabric this morning.....started my day off perfectly......as you know, I have been inspired by the snow and ice dying since you first tried it last winter......nature at it's best.......gorgeous colors and each so interesting and unique. I, especially, like 19, 34, 52 and 53. Since my FAV color is PURPLE, I choose 53 as my fav, SO far.......Keep enjoying yourself and thanks for sharing....Kathy McCurdy
