I actually dyed this silk crepe scarf yesterday,
but by the time it was washed and ironed,
it was dark outside,
so I decided to wait to post until today.
Who knows, I may even post twice!
I'm not a huge fan of silk crepe,
but I got a good deal on a bundle of silk crepe scarves,
so they are fun to try new dye combos on.
I used khaki, Chinese red, and Cayman Island Green on this one.
I also joined another row of butterfly blocks yesterday morning
We went to see "Memphis", a fantastic musical
at Theatrical Outfit in Atlanta in the afternoon.
I would urge you to go see it,
but the show closed yesterday.
It was phenomenal.
In spite of the fact that the lady next to me
continued to turn on her cell phone to do whatever
it was that she felt was far more important than watching the show,
I just loved the performance.
The voices were strong and always on key,
and the acting was great.
By the way, what is it about people being so rude
out in public?
I just don't get it.
We stopped by to see these adorable urchins
on our way home from the big city
(Charlie does have a pair of shorts on, by the way!)
Henry turned six weeks old last Friday.
I could just eat them all up with a spoon!!!

So loving Maggie's blocks and Charlie is obviously smitten with Henry. I stood behind someone at the checkout today who spent the whole time on her phone which I thought was very rude to the check out girl and also to the rest of us in line as it took her longer to do her bag packing. Why do people think they are so important that they must be accessible at all times?
